Learn Awesome Guitar Songs Online

Learning to play songs on the guitar is the most exciting break through a beginner can have, but it can be tough to learn all the parts to some of our favorite songs, also learning to play songs can often be a tedious process trying to rely on guitar tabs that may or may not be correct and free video lessons from other amteur guitarists on sites like youtube.

Instead why not learn guitar songs from professional instructors who create videos to teach you all the right parts to the songs you love.

I’ve been experimenting with a few of these such lessons lately and wanted to share with you what I’ve found.

There are two great places to learn guitar songs: Jamplay and Guitar Tricks . Let’s take a closer look at both of these.

Jamplay Song Lessons

I’ve been a member at Jamplay.com for over 2 years now I think, and one area of their website that I never paid much attention to was their learn guitar songs section. What I discovered was that Jamplay has over 100 different song lessons from Rock and Metal to Blues and Country It’s a gold mine of song lesson content.

Some of these lessons are upwards of an hour long, teach you both the rhythm and lead guitar parts and include backing tracks that you can download to your computer and use to play the full song with. This is a ton of fun and a great supplement to all the great beginner and intermediate lessons available from JamPlay.com.

Guitar Tricks Song Lessons

I haven’t used Guitar Tricks as much as Jamplay over the past year, but after discovering the guitar song lessons on Jamplay I figured it was worth checking out the learn guitar songs section at Guitar Tricks as well. I gotta say I was blown away. They’ve got lessons for classic hits like “Hotel California” by the Eagles and “Message in a Bottle” by the Police to more recent songs by artists like Everclear, Fall Out Boy and Good Charlotte.
