Guitar Instruction DVDs will
speed up your learning process
Check out our Top Choice for Guitar
Instruction DVDs
There's a variety of guitar instruction dvds both online and
available at local music stores. How ever no all of them will
provide you with the same learning experience. While single
discs bought for $20-$30 from a music store cover one
particular technique or area of learning to play guitar, it's
the complete guitar instruction dvd sets that are best for
beginners.
This article will explain how guitar instructional dvds can
help you learn faster and for less money compared to private
guitar lessons. I'll also share with you the guitar lesson dvd series that I used to
improve my guitar abilities.
Learn faster when you're doing it on your own time
Using dvds to learn guitar can drastically speed up how long
it takes to learn new techniques. For instance if you watch a
lesson and learn a new scale normally you'd practice it for a
week until your next private lesson the following week. How
ever because you have access to the very next lesson on the
same dvd you can practice like mad for a couple of days and
then do the next lesson.
For those of you who want to learn faster you can, and of
course those who want to take their time as well can do so. The
point? You're in control of how fast or slow you learn when
using guitar instruction dvds. You don't feel bad if you miss a
day or two of practice because it isn't costing you any more
money.
Easier to review previous lessons
One complaint I had when I was taking private guitar lessons
was that if I didn't remember what I learned the previous week
I felt guilty. The instructor had to take time out of this
weeks lesson to revisit what I should have already learned. Of
course it was me who didn't practice, and it was my money being
wasted teaching me the same thing twice, but I still felt
silly.
When learning from guitar instructional dvds you can revisit
a previous lesson free of charge. You can even re-watch the
entire lesson. I enjoy this part of guitar home study courses,
I feel I get a better understanding of the concepts this
way.
My Vote for the Best Guitar Instructional dvd
The guitar instruction dvd I used to improve my guitar
playing was Learn and Master
guitar. It's a 20 dvd (or 10 dvd) set taught by world
renowned studio musician and performer Steve Krenz. The video
quality, topics covered, and organization of the lesson really
blew me away the first time I turned it on.
Myself, I was an intermediate guitar player, so I skipped
the first couple of lessons that were for beginners, but this
is the perfect home study program for beginner or intermediate
guitar players.
