Beginner Guitar Lesson #1 – How to Hold a Guitar

We have teamed up with our friend Nate Savage of the Beginner Guitar System to bring you a series of beginner guitar lesson that will help you get started fast.

This first lesson is the complete basics of how to hold a guitar. While it might not seem that difficult there are a few different ways you can hold it. This video lesson will explain all three ways and you can choose to hold your guitar the way that’s most comfortable for you.

The standing or sitting style of holding a guitar goes for both acoustic and electric guitars. So while Nate, the instructor in the video, is using an Acoustic guitar follow the same method for an electric.
