My Overview:

From what I can find on the web about Guitar Method it is rated as a top notch learn guitar program. + It's the best priced alternative compared to all of the $100 dvd home study courses and it offers a very good lesson plan structure.

Kevin Garry, the instructor, has a PhD and was the instructor on eMedia Guitar Method 3 as well. This new updated version delivers even more value for the money and I have no problem strongly reccommending it to any beginner guitar players.

Song Database: Guitar Method 4 has a searchable database of all the songs that are included with the program. Songs from artists such as Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones. It's a great catalog of music to learn along with.

Instruction is included for both left hand and right handed players. To the best of my knowledge eMedia guitar method is the only program offering this.

Company: www.eMediaMusic.com produces music lesson programs for Piano, Bass, and Guitar. Emedia Guitar Method is currently on Version 4.
