Learn and Master Guitar

Learn & Master Guitar is the premier guitar course if you’re looking to learn a little bit about everything on the instrument and especially if you’re keen on being able to read music and have a solid grasp of musical theory.

Course instructor Steve Krenz switches back and fourth between an acoustic and an electric guitar through out the entire course. Everything that is taught can be learned on an acoustic guitar however.

If you’re a beginner this is the most in-depth self study program for acoustic guitar available right now. If you don’t have an acoustic guitar yet they also offer a special kit with the course and a beginner Epiphone acoustic guitar and starter amplifier. It’s a nice set and the price is right.

Guitar Tricks Acoustic Guitar Lessons

Like JamPlay, Guitar Tricks also exclusively offers online guitar lesson videos. Unlike JamPlay they do not offer a specific foundation course exclusively taught on the acoustic guitar, but there is an intermediate acoustic guitar lessons section.

There are also a variety of intermediate lessons available on the Guitar Tricks website that are suited to acoustic guitar players including song specific lessons, finger picking and 12 string guitar basics.

Conclusion

All in all if it’s specific acoustic guitar lessons you’re looking for JamPlay is the only site to offer several acoustic beginner courses. While if you are just interested in learning to play the guitar and an acoustic guitar is your instrument of choice then Learn & Master Guitar or Guitar Tricks will do a great job as well.
